Was founded in 1991 and operates in the field of industrial prototyping for the automotive, lighting and medical industries as well as others. More specifically, we are specialized in feasibility studiesand the construction of thermoplastic molds in high-tech steel and aluminum. We also produce innovative optical inserts withnanometer precision for various types of lenses for applications to new sources of lighting such as LED, CIPLED and NANO-LED, as well as for collimators used to concentrate sunlight.
We make optics on aluminum, brass and copper sheets and directly on sheets of PC and PMMA.Having reached a high level of technology and innovation in our production process, thanks to high-definition surface results obtained through nanotechnology, we are working towards specialization in the construction of optical inserts in beryllium copper and in nickel/steel for the final molds.
Laboratorio BS offers a complete service to customers, from collaboration in the product development phase to the design and construction of the mold and the pre-series molding.The target market is aimed at the highest level of technological niches of the sectors mentioned above; particularly that of the medical sector Laboratorio BS has developed molds for microlenses for applications such as innovative capsule endoscopy.
